Spin City Cowboys are Kai Brown and Martin Dingle Wall, two multidisciplinary artists with over twenty years of immersion in American country music culture. Having lived across the United States and danced in landmark venues from Hollywood's Desert 5 Spot to Pioneertown's Red Dog Saloon — as well as major festivals including Stagecoach — they return to Australia with a deep respect for the tradition of Texas Two Step and a genuine passion for sharing it. Spin City Cowboys offer country music fans an authentic, joyful introduction to one of America's most beloved partner dances, with group lessons available at bars, festivals, and private events across Australia.

Kai Brown is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and the founder of amR (Artists, Makers and Repairs) — a custom chainstitch embroidery company he established in Los Angeles that has since grown into a globally recognised name in bespoke fashion and live embroidery events. With over a decade of experience, Kai has collaborated with some of the world's most iconic brands including Levi's, Nike, Disney, BMW, and Stagecoach Music Festival, with amR's work featured across the US, Europe, Australia, and Japan. A musician as well as a maker, Kai spent twenty years immersed in American country and creative culture before returning to Australia, bringing with him a deep love of Texas Two Step and the honky tonk spirit that shaped it.

Martin Dingle Wall is a Sydney-born actor, writer, and producer with a career spanning over two decades across Australian and international film and television. He first came to national attention originating the role of Flynn Saunders on Home and Away, earning a Logie nomination for Most Popular New Male Talent. From there, Martin built a diverse screen career that has taken him from Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities and Cops: L.A.C to Hollywood, where he starred in the feature film Happy Hunting, appeared alongside Nicole Kidman and Joseph Fiennes in Strangerland, and joined the cast of Salty with Antonio Banderas and Olga Kurylenko. He has also written two screenplays taken up by UK production houses. A long-time Los Angeles resident and passionate Two Stepper, Martin brings the same storytelling instinct to the dance floor that he brings to every role.

Texas Two Step is a partner dance rooted in American country music culture, danced to classic and modern country songs. It is one of the most popular social dances in the American South and is now growing rapidly across Australia. The basic pattern is a smooth, traveling step — quick, quick, slow, slow — danced counterclockwise around the floor.
Spin City Cowboys offers Texas Two Step lessons, workshops, and events across Australia. Founded by Kai Brown and Martin Dingle Wall — two artists with over twenty years of immersion in American country music culture — we are Australia's dedicated Texas Two Step school, bringing an authentic honky tonk experience to dancers of every level.
No partner needed. Our classes are designed so that everyone rotates and dances with multiple people throughout the session. Solo sign-ups are welcome and encouraged — you will leave with new dance skills and new friends
Absolutely. Our beginner classes start from zero — no experience, no coordination required. Texas Two Step is one of the most accessible partner dances to learn, and our teaching style is relaxed, fun, and built for real people, not just dancers.

We dance to classic and contemporary American country music — think the sounds of honky tonks, dance halls, and rodeo festivals. If you love artists like George Strait, Cody Johnson, Zach Bryan, or Charley Callen, you are going to love the dance floor.
